Youth work certificate/ pending Social work accreditation/ Current Mental Health First Aid Accredited Facilitator/ NZ Cert. in Health and Wellbeing (Social and Community Services) (Level 4)/ Certificate in Group Facilitation.
About me:
Talofa lava, Mālō e lelei, Mālō ni, Kia orana, Ni sa bula vinaka, Fakaalofa lahi atu, Fakaaue lahi, Halo olketa, Mauri, Kia Ora koutou; my name is Steve Peseta; born-and-bred Cantabrian, black-and-red, one-eyed through-in-through; hail from the Mighty Eastside of Ōtautahi, in Aranui (A-Town)!!!
I have been active in the youth development/ youth sector for the last 30+ years; predominantly working in schools, Pacific and Māori, as well rural communities. Still actively connected to working and supporting and serving young people, the youth worker workforce especially in the Pacific space, and now the privilege to work in the Disability Support space too.
