I have been in the youth sector in various areas for the past 20+ years and have recently returned to my first kaimahi rangatahi workplace of Youth & Cultural Development - YCD on the Transition to Adulthood project.
Over those years I have been fortunate enough to work within Youth Justice, Health, Trades Training, Alternative Education, Care & Protection, Mentoring, Government and NGO.
When I first started my career, Rerenga Awa - Canterbury Youth Workers Collective back then was a huge source of knowledge, networking and training for me, and I got so much from it. So, it is my time to give back to this space and support/develop the next generations of kaimahi rangatahi.
